Together with Tele Atlas, we develop turn-by-turn digital maps of Argentina and Uruguay. Tele Atlas brings expertise and global experience, and Datamap offers the local knowledge, ensuring precise, complete, reliable and constantly updated maps.

This cartographic database is designed for use in navigation, location and routing applications, and also in spatial analysis and geocoding applications, helping organizations to become more aware of how geographic information can impact their operations, and allowing them to respond more quickly and effectively to the ever changing business environment.

Ranging from complete street mapping and high precision geo-codification capabilities to accurate display features, our maps are designed to help users get where they need to go, faster, easier and more precisely than any other cartographic database.

Our map data is collected from a variety of reliable sources such as paper maps, existing digital maps, satellite imagery, government sources, and the valued contribution of the user community. All this information is verified, validated and refined through field work.

Every three months we release cartography updates and improvements to ensure our partners the most accurate and fresh maps in the industry.
As a result of our production, updating and improvement processes these locally developed maps are now included in the Tele Atlas global cartographic database: MultiNet, the most complete database of Latin America.

Layers of Value
Our cartography offers layers of valuable information, such as socio-economic, census and city block census (the smallest geographic unit of analysis) and a broad portfolio of thematic maps.
Our thematic maps can be tailored to the needs of each client, or developed ad-hoc with the information required in each case. + Information.

POIs (Points of Interest)
Our cartographic database has over 13 thousand Points of Interest (POIs), including petrol stations, health centers, shopping centers, drug stores, parking lots, etc.
Tele Atlas provides more than 24 million POIs globally (over half of them are located in North America), amongst which are included the most popular food establishments, gas stations, stores and commercial areas.
Each POI includes a number of key attributes that provide the user with the coordinates for his desired destination. One of the key attributes is brand icons, which accurately reproduce the full color logos for companies, allowing users to quickly identify and select possible destinations according to preference rather than just proximity. All Tele Atlas POIs are continuously tested to ensure quality and accuracy with thousands of updates processed and sent quarterly to members.
